Botanic Seasons Art Exhibition (closed 18th - 21st February)
04 Dec 2009 - 27 Feb 2010
£6.00

By the Ross Botanical Art Group 4th December 2009 to 28 February 2010. Please note the exhibition will be closed for the set up and duration of the Antique Fair on 18th, 19th & 20th February. This stunning new botanical exhibition at the Worcester Porcelain Museum by the Ross Botanical Art Group, a group of seven artists producing work to the highest standards and numbering two RHS medallists among its membership, illustrates the seasons with remarkable accuracy and detail. With a heritage of beautiful flower painting in the world’s largest collection of Worcester Porcelain housed at the museum, what could offer a better complement than this carefully selected range of flower, fruit and tree studies, including work by David Pethers (RHS Gold and Silver medallist) who specialises in studies of tree bark and Wendy Gibson (RHS Silver medallist) who has produced a special series of Christmas studies for the exhibition. The exhibition will be open Tuesdays to Saturdays, from 10.30am to 4pm. Entry to the exhibition is included in the entry price to the Porcelain Museum.
