Worcester Porcelain - The workers' Story

A varied selection of photographs of the workforce and Severn Street factory, relating to the stories told by employees as part of our audio history project. An interactive audio post will allow visitors to listen to sound clips from the interviews and the 1951 film, The Doctor Ordered Clay will be shown in the gallery. One display will concentrate on the partnership project with Christopher Whitehead school and the worker’s interviews conducted by the children. A series of pictures donated or loaned by the workers will also form part of the exhibition.
