A Sample Programme for Art
Year 9 & 11
The students to receive an introduction to the subject of porcelain manufacture and to have
a short tour of the galleries after which they spend time in the galleries studying and
sketching large pots and urns.
Then, under supervision in the search room, the students can have access to original
archives and sketch / interpret for their own design. There is then the option for them
to continue with their interpretive work during the afternoon or to take a factory tour.

notes by their drawings, explaining their thoughts and feelings. The information then

flanges, handles and knobs.
