Label These huge vases, 30 inches high were painted with figure subjects after Rubens by Josiah Rushton c.1870. They are unusual in that they are made of earthenware decorated with majolica colours. They are unmarked.
Description A pair of very large vases on circular pedestals and with entwined snake handles. Earthenware decorated with opaque majolica colours. Green and maroon base.
